In-Home ABA Therapy
Evidence-based autism therapy delivered where your child lives, plays, and learns — with the same BCBA oversight and clinical rigor as our center-based programs.
In-home ABA therapy brings applied behavior analysis directly to your family. For many children, learning in their natural environment accelerates generalization — the ability to use new skills during meals, transitions, sibling play, and community outings. Grounded & Growing serves families across Chicago, Cook County, and nearby Illinois suburbs with compassionate, BCBA-led in-home care.
Why families choose in-home ABA
- Natural environment teaching — Skills are taught where they will actually be used.
- Family involvement — Parents and siblings participate in sessions and parent training.
- Reduced transitions — Ideal for children who struggle with transportation or new settings.
- Flexible scheduling — Sessions can align with school, nap, and work schedules.
What in-home sessions look like
A matched RBT arrives at your home for scheduled sessions, typically 2–4 hours. Activities may include structured table work, play-based learning, daily routine training (dressing, brushing teeth, mealtime), and sibling interaction. Your BCBA visits regularly for supervision, program updates, and family coaching.
Parent Training
BCBA-led coaching so caregivers confidently reinforce strategies between sessions.
Community Outings
When appropriate, therapists support skills at parks, stores, and appointments.
Hybrid Models
Many families combine in-home and center-based ABA for balanced growth.
Insurance Coverage
